ICBAS President's Message
Greetings!
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the International College of Beauty Arts And Sciences (ICBAS).
Our overriding purpose here at ICBAS is to provide our students with the finest education available within the beauty industry, while at the same time offering a nurturing environment. With that in mind, we hire only top-notch, academically- and professionally-trained instructors who teach the latest techniques and advancements as they unfold in the beauty industry. Our campus provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and all of the best available tools to ensure that our graduates not only succeed at this, their chosen profession, but that they have the most enjoyable experience possible while they study and work to attain their goals.
As you might guess from the name of our school, we are, indeed, an international campus, with multi-lingual instructors. ICBAS goes above and beyond the minimum requirements of the average beauty school. We invite Guest Speakers and Instructors from Europe and around the world to expand the knowledge and skills of our students, usually on a monthly basis. You will be exposed to more than just that which is contained in your books - and it will include international, as well as American, talent and information, which will ultimately enhance your own standing in the beauty industry.
I firmly believe that as your school principal, it is my responsibility to monitor your progress in order to help you overcome any possible weaknesses, as well as recognizing your strengths as they emerge. Therefore, we test all of our students on a weekly basis. This helps us to help you, as you pass various exams and proceed to the next level. Our curriculum is approved by the State Board of Cosmetology and we adhere strictly to its rules and regulations.
As a student at ICBAS, you will have full access to our library, which offers books, videos and more, so that you may expand your knowledge on your own, if you so choose (and we hope you will!).
During your training, you will receive on-going preparation for the State Board exams, as well as assistance with job placement upon graduation, when you are ready to spread your wings and fly. We will be happy to provide you with post-graduate training in additional courses, or brush-ups, should you so desire and our school counselors will be available to assist you when you land your first job or start you own business.
In other words, whatever it takes to help you succeed, we will be here for you.
